it's see-through

"my boyfriend initially gave this to me as a gift, and I returned it because the fabric is very see-through and I'm not one to wear a full-length slip under a sundress (or anything else, for that matter). But my boyfriend kept seeing the dress in the PC catalog and basicallty guilt-tripped me into buying it back! Guess I will save it to wear on rainy or cloudy days!"

"Watched and debated about this lovely dress until it went on sale. When I called to purchase it, there was only one size 10 left! I am 5'3", 134#, and the dress fits perfectly, flattering and fitted around bust and waist. Fabric is soft and romantic. Can't wait for warmer weather to wear it."

"This was not nearly as flattering on as it is on the model. I'm a size 4 and it looked more iike a sack cloth than the fitted dress in the picture. The quality didn't seem worth the premium price either."

"Fabric is a light cotton lawn. On me, a petite, the front hits below the knee and the back dips gracefully to about midcalf. This gives a dressier look than the casual depiction on the tall model. The zipper was defective so I have requested an exchange which I'm still waiting for. It is cut slim so if you are busty, you might want to size up. Look forward to wearing this on warm summer evenings. Dressy but not over the top."

beautiful dress, if only it hadn't cost so much

"I bought this dress for my daughter; was worried the fit might not be young enough for her (pictures often show dresses pinned back, and the length given for this in the catalog was shorter than what I was told over the phone, by several inches--looks shorter on the model than really is), but she loved it and it was for a special occasion so I splurged. The dress is a beautiful print (almost an antique white background, not bright white) and well-made and she says it's comfy, but there's not much to it, very fragile in material, two layers of wispy cotton. I was able to iron the bottom of it but I'm sure it would need to be dry cleaned. Fit true to size, but as I said, longer than looks on the model. Hits below knee in front and my daughter is 5'6"."
