The Dress I've Been Waiting For...

"I've waited and waited for this dress to go on sale, and when it finally did, I snatched it up. I just wore it a few weeks ago, even though it's winter. I wore it with tights and with the warm weather we've been having it was the perfect choice. The sand-washed like finish to the silk feels well, like silk on your skin and the detailing and embroidery truly make it unique. The fit is perfect for me - I have hips and this dress is made for curves! The light weight of the silk makes the dress flow and shimmer in evening light and I truly felt like this dress set me apart from the crowd. Great job, Peruvian Connection!"

Not What I Expected

"I hate to be a contrarian, but I ordered this dress over the summer and it arrived in the fall. I did not feel that it met this vendor's typical standards or that it merited the price. The silk fabric had a dull finish, and was unexpectedly thin and lifeless. Due to its thinness, the silk fabric did not have the flowing, graceful drape that is characteristic of higher quality silks -- despite what I had been led to expect through the internet video. Nor was the dress as shapely as I had anticipated. Finally, the fact that the embroidery was made with yarn, as opposed to stitched needlework or some other, higher-quality material and/or embellishments, seemed to downgrade the appearance of the dress as well.
Sorry, but for me, this was a no-brainer -- I returned the dress the next day."

A Lovely Dress

"I have not worn this dress yet. I did try it on. I got size 6. I normally wear size 4.
It fits a little loose. I wish I had gotten the size 4 first to compare the two sizes. I am not sure if I should return it to get the smaller size. I do like the dress very much. It looks beautiful on . It is a timeless dress and can be worn for many occasions over the years."
