"The dress that arrived was not the same color as pictured. The picture looks like a west coast sunset, and I love it. The dress that came was all green-as in deep forest green...with a little taupe at the bottom. I am very disappointed at the lack of blue shades that I expected. It is also not a very soft silk and for $800 it should have been perfect."

wish it fit me better

"I ordered this dress in my normal size (10) and it fits me perfectly in the top, but is rather big in the waist and hips. I wish it were a little more fitted. I'd get it tailored for a better, but because of the beading in the dress, I'm not sure that's going to be possible and the dress is too expensive to gamble on it. But it is beautiful. The fabric is little different looking in real life and rougher to the touch than you'd expect, but it's definitely a quality dress with interesting color and details."

"I saw this gorgeous cocktail dress early this year and thought, "What a great Christmas gift this could be for my lovely wife.!" I was so pleased to see the excitement and appreciation she demonstrated in modeling it this Christmas holiday. It is a wonderful creation of a dressmaker's skill. My thanks to the artisans who designed and crafted this object of beauty."

"So what happens when you go "window-shopping" with your teenage daughter at designer stores on 5th Avenue in New York City? You immediately are met with a personal shopper at one store, and you are wearing this dress for dinner afterward. The personal shopper asks you whether your dress was made by [famous European designer]. You say "no," and then walk over and look at the dresses of the designer at issue. They cost 3 to 5 times as much as this dress. You leave the store feeling very complacent. And dinner never tasted so good!"

"This dress is beautifully made - details are exquisite. I bought this over a year ago and when the event finally came around, had put on some weight so I opened up the back darts on both the dress and lining. Then I embroiderd a matching pattern down both sides of the back, using details from the skirt. I got so many complements on this dress. I hope to wear it many times in the future because the design is timeless."

Extraordinarily Elegant Eventide Dress!

"I am delighted with this beautiful dress! It is so subtly elegant. I I even bought the suggested purse, and both sets of earrings that were featured with the dress. They are lovely as well. This dress will be a favorite of mine, because the color and fabric will make it one I can wear frequently with different accessories that pick up other colors in beaded fabric.
